Title: Magic 4.9 Pharmacy and First Data Bank
Charlene - I have overwrite set to N on most of these, as you probably do, because I had to create a lot of things like generic names etc myself and I didn't want FDB to be changing them. Below is how my formulary toolbox parameters are set:

good morning, We are revisiting our First Data Bank formulary service parameters and are wondering what other pharmacies are using. what are your parameters set to?

Specifically do you have your overwrites set to "Y" or "N" for generics, ingredients, ctrl schedules, drug classes, drug types?   currently have them set to "N" and can't remember why?

Also...
What is your setting for:                 GET FROM
                             *DRUG TYPE   CTRL SCHED

Also would appreciate any help with how you are complying with California's Drug ID regulation and if Meditech has helped address this yet.  I appreciated the input from Carol and Cindi but still looking for something that can be produced on the Meditech Outpatient Label.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
We are a 4.9 Magic facility using both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy.
