Poudre Valley Hospital is JCAHO accredited and recently received a "Top 100 Hospital" award (2004-2006), the Distinguished Hospital Award for Patient Safety (2005-2006), and has also designated as a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence since 2000. Our newest hospital will open in nearby Loveland city, February 2007. We're located in sunny Fort Collins in northern Colorado less than one hour from Denver. Position Summary: Specific responsibilities for this position include: Documenting requirements, developing reports, developing and executing test plans, participating in the change management process, work with departments to perform user acceptance testing for existing and/or new reports, participate in resolving production incidents where required, preparing time and cost estimates for completing projects and tasks. Requirements: This individual will use proven knowledge of specialized reporting tools to develop reporting structures as required. Broad experience with multi-vendor report writing and programming tools. Special emphasis in the Meditech Report Writing application (NPR). Experience with SQL, Crystal Reports and PL-SQL a plus. Minimum Education 4 year college degree in application, related application, or computer related field. 3-5 years experience in application or a field related to application. 2-4 years experience with hospital applications or similar hospital systems. Department: Information Services - Full-time 80 hrs. pp. 8am-5pm.
