I agree with Jan, 6yrs ago (a life time) we could do this in HCA's EMAR/BMV software. We build a MAR access group for RT, to only see Inhalation type drugs in the Process Meds routine. I think we used the order type of INH to restrict there view to inhalation drugs. At my current facility we have these order types as listed as RT order type instead of INH. This causes change in Pha ordering procedures... We have nursing seeing ALL MEDS and Pharmacy only seeing theirs.. this means when the "neb" is changed to "Nursing to Give" the pharmacy needs to do a copy/edit and change the ORDER TYPE as well as the administration instructions. We have it almost set up the way we want...
