I would think you could also refer to nurse type (if you open to NUR while in OE) or you could place your ITS folks in a specific OE access group, and check against that. Another way would be if your ITS users mnemonic has unique text in it, you could check against that. So, an IF Statement that would only allow me to document on a query would be: [EMAIL PROTECTED]"H.NUR.DMD" 1;""} Daniel Davis, RN Patient Care Module Coordinator Southern Hills Medical Center Nashville, TN (615) 781-4153 -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Ken MacPherson Sent: Friday, June 09, 2006 6:33 AM To: Brian Nelligan Cc: Meditech-L ([email protected]) Subject: **SPAM** RE: [MEDITECH-L] OE queries with IFE="" All messages should be posted in plain text. HTML will be converted to attachments. The meditech-l web site is MTUsers.com ====================================== We are C/S 5.5.2 and have some special queries that are in our ITS module that need to be entered. So when OE sends an order down to ITS, the queries are there and when we try to amend the order to put responses in, the IFE="" still stops us. We do not want the nursing units to be able to enter data and it also makes it easier for them to tab through all the queries page by page. So, is there any suggestion on how we include the queries we need but to not allow the nurses to enter the data when they create the order.
