Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital is expanding its Information Systems staff and currently has the following career position for a qualified professional as our Clinical Systems Analyst. ------------------ SUMMARY: Responsible for assuring the overall maintenance and/or new implementations of the hospital's Health Care Information System (HCIS) clinical modules including but not limited to nursing, laboratory, microbiology, blood bank, pharmacy, radiology, order entry, PCI, and community wide scheduling through collaboration with other team members. Also, the Clinical Systems Analyst will work with all aspects of Information Systems, including financial applications and office productivity, which support the hospital's business strategies and patient care mission. EDUCATION, TRAINING AND CREDENTIALS: REQUIRED: Associate's degree in a health related technology and two year's related work experience in a healthcare/clinical setting. PREFERRED: Bachelor's degree in a health related technology and two years related work experience in a healthcare setting. Previous experience with the Meditech HCIS. OTHER: Good communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills. Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Windows desktop O/S and Office applications. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to work independently of direct supervision.
