Is this specific to MAGIC or is it an issue for Client Server too?

Thanks!

Candace - We also are 5.5 SR2 and have encountered this problem sporadically. I
had the Pyxis engineer check things and Pyxis is getting the correct ADT
messages for the transfer but then Meditech seems to be sending another message
to  change the location. I have a task open with Meditech on this, but so far,
no response. I've had admissions look at an audit trail of these patients, and
they can find nothing. I've also had patient's discharged from Pyxis who were
never discharged from Meditech. I can find no rhyme or reason as to why this is
happening. Please let me know if you find out what is going on and I'll do
likewise.

>From our pharmacy director:

Since the conversion to 5.5 SR2 we have been experiencing the patient transfer
function not consistently being transferred to Pyxis successfully. Random
patients have the correct room number but the "Nursing Unit" field in Pyxis
does not change. We have also seen the location get transferred to the Visit
Nurse Unit but not the "Nursing Unit" field. We expected no changes with the
pyxis interface with 5.5 SR2, but something is happening that is puzzling us.
Has anyone else had this issue?

Thanks!
