======================================

We are a Magic site that has been using eMAR/BMV on our In-Patient units and on 1 of our Outpatient units. We just went LIVE with 5.5 SR3 on 6/12/06 and since then, we have had problems with the Quick Charge Doc routine. Sometimes when a user enters a medication or IV fluid with the Quick Charge Doc routine, the Date and Time is appearing in the “Next Admin” columns and not in the “Last Doc” columns. They are not documented as given and not automatically DC’ed after entering as a Quick Charge Doc. Has anyone using the eMAR and the Quick Charge Doc routine had this problem? I would appreciate any information or suggestions that anyone might have.

Meditech is working on this, but have no answers at this time. Thanks,

Mary T Selting, RN,CCRN,CEN
