We have been experiencing system slowness across the board since 5.4. It seems to have gotten a little worse since 5.5.SR1. We have had many fixes put in for Pharmacy issues like you described. Seems to work for a while and then we have more slowness. We have checked the network and have found no problems. Usually high CPU usage is a good indicator but that is not always the case either. Meditech even pointed to our IST at one point. No one has been successful in determining the real issue. We usually get notified by ADM and SCH staff first or Pharmacy that there is a slow down.
At least with this discussion we know we are not alone out there with the issue.
If anyone has found any real reasons, causes or solutions please respond.
