Hi Diane,

Depends on what capacity you are using this. We have it set up as a med
"1mg/ml 30ml" charges out by the Vial. It is also stocked in our pyxis
units as vials. Nurses remove pca from pyxis then records waste in
pyxis if
necessary. We don't have E-mar/Bmv yet, so I am not sure if this helps
you
at all.

I am in need of an NPR report that would let me discover how many
inpatient draws are done during individual hours of the day. We have a
test which is bill only called VPIP which is ordered on all inpatient
draws. I am trying it in LAB.L.Spec with no luck.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello everyone,
I have two label formats for our specimen labels. One format I would
like to
use for all our in-house tests. The second format is for all our
send-outs.
The first format, which is defaulted in our customer defined parameters
works great. The second format is defined in our send-out test
dictionary
which will work only when I ask for a individual specimen label and
change
the default. Meditech tells me that it should print the label format
that is
defaulted in the CDP but the send-out should override and print its
default
format. ( of course it is not working that way) Is any one out there
using
different specimen label formats for different tests? Are they printing
correctly in your batches without having to change defaults?
Thanks bunches!!!
Diane

Hi Everyone.
Our pharmacy would like to use the "modified" cockcroft-gault formula
for
basing all their creatinine clearance calculations. Does anyone have
this
formula already set up in a rule somewhere. I don't know if Actual body
weight vs Ideal body weight is the only change.
Thanks in advance
Diane

We are 768 bed acute care facility, looking to see if any DSH hospitals
out there are participating in the 340B drug discount program and if so,
what software or methods are you using to split your bills based on
Inpatient /Outpatient criteria. Any information regarding this topic
will be greatly appreciated.
p.s. If anyone is using the Meditech B/AR system to do this we would be
extremely interested in speaking with you.

Before reinventing the wheel, I thought I would utilize the Meditech-L
expertise and ask the following:
Does anyone have a productivity report for your reimbursement or cash
posting area that provides total dollar and total count of adjustments,
payments, refunds, AND "other"? I am specifically looking to capture
remit codes posted through the batches.
Thank you.

Hi all,
I'm looking for any tips and insight for understanding how the
Meditech 3 tier client works when selecting an item from a list.
Boston scripting works 99.9% of the time to login, but will fail about
10% of the time when it tries to navigate the application popup after
successful login. It appears that Meditech will partially draw the
list sometimes and you will briefly see a "<more>" appear. Even if I
have Boston Workstation pause for 10 seconds, it won't see the list
items.
Is there a special key combination to refresh the list?
So far I have discovered that {HOME} and {END} move to the beginning
and end of the list respecitvely, but they don't fix my issue.
I know this is a rather vague question, but I guess I'm looking for
some technical insight into how the 3 tier client works.
Thanks!
Henry Hansen @ Palliser Health.
