Hi L-ers, If someone happens to have an NPR report that lists any alarm messages currently in OPS (via the View System Alarm Messages), could someone please send me that report? I would be most appreciative of this. If not, then I hope you could provide me with the following information... I was looking to get a list of possible caretaker messages that could be generated if the backup on one of the machines failed. MEDITECH provided me with the following, but I would like to make sure that there were not any other messages that could be generated from a failed backup: UNATTENDED BACKUP PUNTED RESYNCH COMPLETED WITH x ERRORS DISK ERROR WRITE FAILURE I would also like to get a list of possible caretaker messages that could be generated for the statuses of the database copies (from the Manage Database Copies routine under the Database Backup menu), especially examples of messages if the status of the copy is "Not Current", "Resynch is not running", etc. MEDITECH said that no caretaker messages generated for these events, but again, I thought I would ask you guys just in case some of you had come across some of these types of caretaker messages. I know that there are caretaker messages when the RESYNCH is initiated and completed, so I would think that caretaker messages would be generated if there was an error with the resynch. We are looking into having a report printed or e-mailed to a group of users on the weekends that lists the alarm messages currently in OPS or the caretaker messages that are generated from these types of events when I.T. is not here so that they can page us if something is wrong...this way, we do not have to give them a menu to manually sign on to and check for these things. We already have an NPR report for caretaker messages that was sent to us through the L. If someone could provide me with an NPR report of current alarm messages, or if someone could provide me with a list of the caretaker messages for the events mentioned above, I would be most appreciative of this!
