For those of you using or going to Point of Care. We are trying to get a
handle on hardware needs. Obviously we need PDA's which we are looking at.
Our confusion is Meditech's "wireless server". What do they mean by this?
Asking them is like the game of 20 questions.
We played this game as well. We are currently testing using Citrix and
a Cisco wireless network. The big gotcha for us was that POC really
relies on a handheld with 240x320 screen resolution. We had purchased
some very nice handhelds with high res screens and it was pretty much
impossible to make POC usable on them. I would be glad to answer any
questions you may have to the best of my ability.
