We've been asked to do an export of the activity segment to the Meditech Data Repository via an NPR report for a Magic 5.4 site. I was surprised to learn that the activity segment is apparently not sent in Magic 5.4 (it is added in Magic 5.5), and no indexes from NUR are sent to the Meditech DR. This would indicate to me that if you try to report of NUR data from the DR you have the following problems: 1) You cannot tell if an intervention was undone (that is only shown in the activity segment, and via de-indexing for the doc.x and date.doc.x). 2) You cannot tell who documented an intervention or assessment. I wonder how 5.4 DR reporting out of NUR can be relied upon for audit reporting, workload reporting, or patient care given that you don't know what was undone, or who documented.
