Title: LAB Rule for printing based on patient room instead of location
We currently have an INpatient location set up in our location dictionary.
We have a "side A" and a "side B", but only have 1 location set up. (For example: room #'s 2901-2921 is side A and 2922-2942 is side B. We have been asked to set up lab reports to print to printers based on the side the room numbers are on.
Does anyone know if a LAB rule can be written for this?
We are trying to avoid setting up a 2nd location.
