We have 5.5, sr2 in our Test system and it still has to be in upper case. I think it only bothers me because the nurses usually are already in Upper Case. Meditech has a DTS for this: PHA7030. It works perfectly.....any entry entered in lower case is automatically converted to upper case. This is for Magic 5.4. Our BMV specialist says this functionality is built in in 5.5.
