We are putting a project plan together for our PCM implementation. I was asked to think of anything-like printers etc.. that we may need to buy for the upcoming fiscal year. We plan to get the physicians using POM and clincal review. We would also like to be able to take any in patient meds and convert them to prescriptions. For those of you that have implemented PCM, were there any suprises in what you needed for hardware/software/equipment? Can you tell me what you ended up using for mobile devices? We will have carts and I am hoping the physicians can use the carts. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
