Troy,

When accessing standard Meditech fields, the format is considerably
different. Try this:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]"F"

What module is the CDS for? The above should work for OR, PHA, OE, and
NUR.

The @ symbol tells the system where to look.
The p. tells the system to look at the permanent response (previously
filed)
ADM.PAT.sex is the field.

Now, if you are in the patient registration CDS, try this:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]"F"

The t. indicates to use the temporary response, because you haven't
filed the registration yet.

Brian

I am setting up a CDS and have used an attribute to restrict to only
Females (for mammogram). It enters without syntax error..... but when
tested just skips over the question completely....

Here is the code...

IFE=[ANS,"ADM.PAT.adm.patient.file.sex"]|O="F"

Any ideas?

Thanks

Troy Shaffer
