I don't have access to a current BAR database but I think there is a
standard report that does something similar to what you are looking
for...

Check the Period End Reports menu...

One of the options on the left is some revenue reports with pricing
information.

Happy Independence Day to all....

In the interest of not reinventing the wheel, here's what I need and am
hoping someone out there has already solved the problem:

Our CFO wants a report that shows the dates and amounts of price
increases for selected procedures based on std.effective.date. So far,
no problem - working out of BAR.PROC will get me that, and I can even
calculate percentage increases.

The nut I need to crack on this one is in getting the quantity of the
procedures done. Let's say we had price increases on 1/1/04, 1/1/05,
and 11/1/05, and none since. Now, I need to somehow get out of
BAR.REV.PROC - presumably via a fragment - the number of procedures done
at each date interval so we can analyze the impact of the price increase
on total dollar volume. Since BAR.REV.PROC uses YTD and monthly totals,
we have to be careful to know where to break the dates coming over from
BAR.PROC. The end result of this would look something like:

Procedure Date Amt Pct # Total
Rev Total Incrs
4444.4444 Procedure Name
                01/01/04 $245 138 $33810
                01/01/05 $295 20.4% 175 $51625
$8750
                11/01/05 $320 8.5% 200 $64000
$5000

Any ideas?
