We've run into some questions and concerns about this, though, particularly with the coding upon discharge. We can see where it is likely a patient's diagnosis will have changed. So, what diagnosis is used for billing? The initial? The interim? The final? If you've made this change and worked through the problem, we would love to hear what you've done.
