Typing FILE at Print on doesn't work for me. Is there something that has to be set up some where to be able to do this?

When manually running a report (standard or NPR) type FILE at the print on prompt and you should get a window looking for the disc location and file name. If automating NPRs review the documentation on the Meditech Knowledgabase article 17286 and 19913.

I am fairly new to Magic coming from a C/S shop. I found it easy to do the PREVIEW option then write it to a PDF using either Adobe or Acropdf. Hope this helps.

Hi All,

Anyone ever printed to a file from Meditech? I'm looking to create a
printer that dumps the output to a file (preferably a readable file...
:)). Anyone have any experience with this in Magic 5.4 SR2?

Thanks,
Nicole
