Hi Renee,
You can use the attached report to figure out the ASCII code for any keystroke, including a tab. The name of the report is MIS.USER.zcus.picis.bms.keyboard. When running it, you can press any keystroke and the ASCII character will appear in the upper-left-hand corner of the screen.
