Good afternoon all,
We are in the process of implementing the eMAR along with BMV. I have 2
questions for those who have implemented this.
* Does anyone have a training manual for pharmacy and respiratory
therapy that they would be willing to share?

* Has anyone tried using this process to scan breastmilk? We are
looking to capture the phases of scanning the correct breastmilk for the
correct patient for the patients that are in the NICU, Special Care Nursery,
PEDS. The phases would include: mom bringing the breastmilk to the unit,
preparing the breastmilk (i.e. adding fortifier, separating the milk into
syringes or bottles, etc), and then the actual administration of the
feeding. Our BirthPlace manager would like to have the breastmilk scanned
with the armband at a minimum when feeding. Her ultimate goal would be to
scan all 3 phases. We will have to apply a label with the Rx # so we can
scan. Is anyone using MEDITECH for this? If so, what is your process? We
know there are a few other systems specific for this (i.e. MOMS) but we were
hoping to utilize what we have.

Any feedback is appreciated.
Thanks!
