Hi Cindy- Not sure about the first one - I'll look into it - but the second one, have you tried adding [urn] to the Cust-Defined Keyword? z.rx.comment [EMAIL PROTECTED](@PHA.RX.rx.comment.q)[urn] Kevin McConnell, PharmD. HTML will be converted to attachments. The meditech-l web site is MTUsers.com ====================================== I have been asked for something that I don't believe can be done within PHA - but just in case someone knows how to do it --- I was asked to make a "pop-up" screen so that when a pharmacist pulls up a patient in order entry or Process Orders he will get a message he has to answer if "profile meds" have been entered into that patient in RXM. Unfortunately, Pharmacy does not have a place to attach a pop-up CDS at the patient that I know about. I added a query to our Pat CDS that is attached to all drugs for free text allergies, etc. It is on a line that nursing doesn't see. I wrote a rule that evaluates at MED. when the pharmacist enters the mnemonic f the med, if the Question in the query as not answered, it asks the pharmacist to answer the query. Its really dumb. It will keep flagging until someone answers Yes or N to it, so mostly they have been answering Yes to it at the beginning by going into Edit Patient Data and saying yes. It sort of defeats the purpose but I can find no better way. If I could write pop-ups attached to the patient that would flag when the pharmacist first pulls up the patient in PHA, that would be great. The second question I have also concerns a PHA rule. I am trying to get a rule to flag on file if RX comments start with MAR. In other words: IF{[f z.rx.comment]^RC_.=.; IF{(RC$3'="MAR"); "YOU HAVE ENTERED NEW CANNED TEXT FOR MAR DISCREPANCY FOR THIS RX"^X, [f rx msg](X)}}; where z.rx.comment [EMAIL PROTECTED](@PHA.RX.rx.comment.q) (RX type) But no luck with this.
