Okay - because I just found it while cleaning my desk otherwise it would be in
a box somewhere - they said they were changing my carpet a month ago - oh
well.
Its DTS #7327
Release 5.4 #2118
5.5.
5.6
You know - it seems to me that they would give everyone these DTS's on a
monthly basis and let them try them out in test and see if they need them or not
instead of waiting til you have a problem and having to go hunt for the fix.
Also the wording on this DTS implies that it is for rules that are supposed to
be flagging on a specific ORDER TYPE but are not. My rules had nothing to do
with a specific order type at all.

Can you give me the DTS# on this?

Thanks in advance - Kevin.

We also had a problem with our contract night pharmacist not being able to
use the "edit" part of the Verify,Edit, Cancel function. Verify was okay,
but if they tried to edit anything, almost every rule attached in the
customer defined parameters would starting flagging, including the SCH 2 and
3 flags for outpatient orders, even though the patient was inpatient and the
drug was Bisacodyl.
Finally we got Meditech to run a DTS which had to do with rules
inappropriately flagging on certain order types. My rules had nothing to do
with order types and they were inappropriately flagging all over the place.
But it did work!. No more inappropriate rule flagging on editing unverified
orders.

We are Magic 5.5 SR2 and had a similar problem with only one user. This one
user (the rest were OK and we don't use tech order entry of unverivied
orders and instead use pharmacist order entry in a verified state) would get
kicked to good-bye only when entering certain medications and only when he
would edit the label comments. After a couple of months, Meditech finally
patched in DTS 7601 which has so far solved the problem. This DTS might fix
your problem. You might also want to ask for DTS 7336 which was the first
DTS that Meditech tried but it didn't solve the problem, but may still be
necessary for DTS 7601 to work properly. Let me know if this solved your
problem (I just want to know out of curiosity).
