To calculate FIM scores, we currently use a series of PCS queries to capture Functional Modifier Scores and Individual FIM scores, and then use an NPR report to generate the Total FIM Score. We then upload these scores into the E-Rehab software to assist in monitoring outcomes and determining future reimbursement. We're finding that the NPR report is so complex based on the many admission/discharge scenarios that we are not confident that our Total FIM scores are entirely accurate. What are other sites using to collect and process FIM data? A different process within Meditech, or some Other Vendor software? Any responses would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Rena H.
