Title: RE: URGENT
Urgent Notice:  Risk of misdirected patient reports when using Windows 2003 Terminal Services for Meditech access.

We publish the Meditech application on Windows 2003 Server Terminal Services.
Remotely connected physician offices have PC's defined as devices with PCI
access in Meditech, and they use local PPII printing to print reports.

If they use a PC that cannot map a local printer to a Terminal Services printer, Meditech
Remote Workstation (MRW) will map their print job to another office’s printer as the default.
Although the Windows environment inside of the Terminal Services session will not allow printing,
because none are defined, MRW will.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?  If so, have you discovered the resolution?  We are
considering the option of disabling all printing features from MRW through Terminal Services until this is resolved.

Any light you can shed on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
