Hi all in Meditech Land,

 

I would like to gather some info from all you IT/IS people who are responsible for the meditech system in your hospitals.

 

  1. Do you have any physicians who are staffed (owned) by the hospital and do you give them access in their homes and offices to meditech?
  2. If Yes, How much access do you give them?
  3. Is access given to their office staff? How much?
  4. How much support does the IT department  in your hospital give to these physicians and staff? (i.e. training, hardware, network, spyware etc)
  5. Any problems encountered with these undertakings?

 

This issue has been cussed and discussed among our staff as far as what level of support and access  we should provide.  Any thoughts?
