MUSE EASTERN REGION UPDATE - 8/1/06 Summer is almost over (sad to say) - time to start thinking about MUSE Eastern Region Conference and Maryland in the fall - how sweet it is!! We need you!!!! Have you come up with some creative ways of getting around "Meditech's - it's working as planned" favorite statement? If so, they may get you a free registration at our conference in September!!! You never know - just click on the Call for Participation button under the Eastern Region Conference and enter in your idea - we'll be the judge and let you know!! These sessions are what makes this user conference so great so don't be shy!!! Southwest Airlines is offering some great rates from the Northeast to BWI - so check them out - this conference is getting more and more affordable every day!!! We are in the process of putting together a site visit to Howard County General Hospital in Columbia, MD which will be held on Tuesday, September5th - so plan accordingly! We should have an agenda by the end of this week. The workshop list has been posted to the MUSE website - along with several NPR classes, we are offering workshops on project management, SQL Server 2005, designing and implementing an EHR and Building Nursing Dictionaries (which qualifies for 3.8 Nursing CEU's) - all for only $50 per class!!! We still have some key Peer Group spots open - BAR, CA, DPT, DR, EMR/OE, ESS, GL, ITS, LTC, MPM/PCM, NPR, OE, OPS, ORM, PCS, QRM and RAD.
