We are in the process of implementing the EDI Eligibility/Verification feature in our MAGIC 5.4, SR1 system. We have decided to use WebMD (Emdeon) as our clearinghouse. I am looking for input from hospitals that use the EDI interface with WebMD. - Pros or Cons? - Too expensive or Reasonable? - Fast enough or too slow? - Are you able to use the feature in BAR or SCH? - Approximately, how many payers are you able to get eligibility information from? - Are you paying per click?
