We are partnered with an outstanding health provider client who has excellent career opportunities available for a clinical systems analyst and a financial systems analyst.   While a certain amount of experience is absolutely required (health provider employment doing either financial or clinical systems work), the rest will be taught to the right candidate. Experience can be in any health information system, though most of the work will be on Meditech Client Server (C/S). You can see below for additional application–specific information.   As a Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for an assigned subset of the applications running in this best of breed complex environment. Job duties include:   Act as business liaison to assigned departments within the hospital to ensure that healthcare information system (HIS) applications function as intended Play a major role in researching and resolving software problems as part of daily operational support Responsible for overall design, implementation, training, documentation, operation and support of assigned HIS applications, databases, interfaces and reports Must be familiar with the server configuration, client installation, data transfer formats and application backup and recovery procedures for these applications Maintenance and advancement of HIS applications Resolution and notification of issues escalated through Help Desk tickets   What’s in it for you??? The ideal candidate for this position will have the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in related field or extensive health provider employment 3 years experience with appropriate clinical or financial HIS applications support is required Strong, demonstrable experience implementing and supporting HIS applications within a hospital / health system is also required Experience with Meditech Client Server applications would be a plus Specifically, for the clinical analyst, experience with Meditech O.R. (Operating Room), Patient Care System (PCS), Order Entry and Enterprise Medical Record in Meditech, RALS Blood Glucose Monitoring System, Varis System for Radiation Therapy and Peminic Risk Management application would all be a plus. Clinical experience (Nurse, R.N., BSN) strongly preferred. Must have healthcare provider clinical applications experience of some sort. Prefer surgical applications experience and knowledge or prior work with risk management and regulatory issues. Specifically, for the financial analyst, experience with Meditech General Ledger (GL), Budget and Forecasting, Cost Accounting, Payroll Personnel and Kronos. Healthcare provider financial applications experience of some sort is absolutely required and must not be limited to just billing and accounts receivable.
