Good afternoon L,
We have been waiting for guidance from the ARC and have not yet begun
our
ISBT 128 conversion project. However, we need to have our
implementation
plan written by November (per AABB). Does anyone have an implementation
plan
they are willing to share?
Does anyone have answers to the questions that I previously posted to
the L
last August? (see below)
I am interested in hearing from other users regarding your
implementation
process for ISBT 128 in blood bank. What dictionary changes are
necessary
for receiving the ISBT barcoded products from suppliers? And what are
you
doing to produce ISBT barcodes for your pools and aliquots? We
currently do
not barcode our pools/aliquots; we only assign a unique number from a
pre-printed roll of labels.
Thanks in advance!
