It does pull info in on the C/S LTC side...however it requires an elf cartridge to print. Other facilities are doing this with other products, so we're trying to figure out why Meditech has not (or if they have, we need to know so we can have it set up here.) If any Meditech sites have a report that works for this and pulls the detail information needed, please forward if you can share. Thank you!! Question from Nursing Home: 07/24/06 (1052): I NEED TO BE ABLE TO PRESENT A REPORT CALLED ROSTER/SAMPLE MATRIX TO STATE SURVEYORS WITHIN AN HOUR OF THEM COMING IN FOR A SURVEY. IF YOU GO INTO THE MDS MENU THEN #45 RESIDENT ASSESSMENT, THEN PRINTING ROUTINES, THEN #43 RAI REPORTS AND THEN #13 ROSTER/SAMPLE MATRIX YOU CAN PRINT THIS REPORT. THE PROBLEM IS THAT IT DOES NOT PRINT WITH ALL THE REQUIRED INFORMATION. THIS INFORMATION CAN BE PULLED FROM THE MDSs. PLEASE CHECK WITH MEDITECH TO SEE WHY IT DOES NOT PULL THE INFORMATION. PER THE SURVEYORS WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO THIS. The Resident Characteristics information entered on the MDS Assessment does not automatically populate Form 802 (Roster/Sample Matrix Report). Rather, this routine prints a list of residents and room numbers. The codes for the residents' characteristics must then be entered manually in order to provide surveyors with residents' most current status. TASK CATEGORY: MDSG - MDS General" In other words, the report is designed to pull basic information, but all details must be completed manually. According to the surveyors, other hospitals have ways of this automatically pulling this from their systems. We need advice from others doing this already. Thanks!
