Hello Kim,

Interbit Data offers a good and inexpensive solution to retrieving patient information during downtime. MPrint Server allows you to set up PC's and or Printers as a device in Meditech.

Schedule reports to print on a custermer defined schedule. Using Mprint Server the Meditech printer port is defined as a remote printer. Mprint Server listens on that port and stores the printed file in whatever PC or Server folder you define.

You may set up as many remote printers and Mprint Sever folders you require to save reports. Reports are saved in the native output format of the printer type you defined in Meditech. Control characters, carriage returns, etc.

Mprint Server adds a backup folder to the software for you at no additional charge. The software will automatically move the last printed file to a backup folder before saving your current print file in the current folder. That way you always have at least two versions available.

Printing the saved print files from your PC or Server is as easy as hittting the print button.

Capture additional unscheduled downtime events using Mprint Server:

Schedule Laboratory Cumulative Summary Reports Schedule Future Orders Schedule Nursing Documentation as well as capturing the lastest version of the eMAR.

Additional functions of Mprint:

Give all Meditech Users the ability to print to a PC based printer Execute an application to handle a captured print file Play a .wav file to notify a user that a print job has been received.

Please see our website to download a free 7 day trial version of MPrint Server and see how easy it is to capture reports.

You can download the trial version by going to http://www.interbitdata.com/download.htm

MPrint server cost

$2495.00 Unlimited site License.

Sincerely,

Oscar Beninati
