Mitch is correct and I think I had sent the L something about the
device, using @.logical.device and or @.device (internal and external
device names), and these are for the current device used to run the
report.

I tried using @event.user's.device and it didn't work.
I am pretty sure I have gotten the reg/adm user's device before, I just
don't remember how (or maybe I just imagined getting it?)
------------------------------------------------------------------------

What is funny though is in MIS.USER.zcus.user.audit.rpt
I get the user device by using @.device (when I audit a user's
activity)...
------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
In NUR you can get the device with (for whatever activity your auditing)
NUR.PC.WORK.act.term.entered
------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
In MIS.USER audit by user, I get the device used for that routine, using
@.device in a computed field.

I don't believe that will work for what she wants, unless the report is
being kicked off during registration and not after the fact.
From: http://www.meditech.com/prrw/pages/RWcbASvariables.htm
@.device = User's Input Terminal
That would be the current user.
Really, the only information that you may be able to do something with
is @event.date, @event.time, and @event.user Maybe utilize those
somewhere in MIS to get a device? Good luck with that!
Thank you,

We are C/S 5.5.
I build a macro called device
Footnote:
AL D device
Macro: device
@.device^/DEV
Computed Field:
xx.device
DAT=FREE
JFY=L
LEN=15
VAL=/DEV
Works slick.

Hello L,
I am writing an ADM.PAT report to list all ED patients and need the
device/terminal name to print on the report. I am trying to determine
how many registrations are taking place at the bedside by referring to
the device name.
I have had no luck at all.
Does anyone have some suggestions? We are Magic 5.4.3.
TIA,
Angela Anderson RN, BSN.
