Our techs enter unverified orders. If an allergy is flagged or a drug interaction the tech writes this on the written order and enters the order on the PHA profile. The pharmacists are also flagged with allergies and interactions. Our techs enter all orders. It is faster if pharmacists enter their own orders, however this gives us a double check. We do use this as a training tool for new pharmacists.
