Carole,

Are you aware of the Big Board Menu that exists in the OR application that
specifically displays data for OR patients? It is probably not as
comprehensive as a NUR/PCS Status Board, but it is customizable for your
facility. It's a thought.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] Status Board & Surgery Inpatients

Hello,
I have a couple of questions re: Status Board and Surgery patients. Our
Surgery Director is requesting a Status Board format that is specific to
her department d/t their unique needs that vary from inpatient units.
One problem we are finding is how to pull our in-patients who go to
surgery for the day onto the Surgery SB. She would like for her staff to
be able to pull all surgical patients onto the SB by way of Location,
BUT...the inpatient's location is there actual bed/unit location. I
tried using the "Temporary Location" feature from the Administrative
Data screen, but that does not effect the patients who populate the SB
via location...they still come up as there actual inpatient location.
Has anyone in Meditech-land come across this issue and found a
resolution? If so, would you be willing to share? Thanks so much...
