Hi,
We are a Magic EDM site and we upgraded to 5.5 SR2 in May. The response
time for order set loading went off the chart especially order sets with
Meds. Apparently this is a widely encountered problem with both EDM and
POM. Meditech has responded with many DTS's. Last week all the fixes
were loaded into the Live system and we have experienced a dramatic
improvement. A Cardiac order set with about 15 meds went from a load
time of 1 minute 15 seconds to 3 seconds.

The DTS's involved for our site were:
OE 10226 - POM: No cart assoicated with room PHA orders can be
entered
OE 10684 - POM: Performance Improvement Misc. Changes.
OE 10456 - Free Text PRN Reason not loading with Order Set+
OE 10536 - POM: Excessive delays when compiling med ordersets+
OE 10989 - Meds cannot be entered in OE Enter Orders via Order
Sets
OE 10834 - POM Rules invoked in Order Set prior to selecting
procedure
RXM 1304 - Allergies checks are being rerun even if the coded
allergies
OE 11001 - Prevent potential IST issue in OE dictionary filers
MIS 8132 - Delays with clinical review
NUR 8050 - STATUS BOARD: Improve response time
NUR 8004 - Improve response time on Status Board.
NUR 8053 - Status Board always sets up PHA prefixes
NUR 8011 - Status board: Improve refresh time
PHA 6995 - Resub PHA 5522: Long compile times in eMAR
PHA 7020 - Slow response time caused by a switch appl to LAB
PHA 7123 - Nursing Status Board: Next Med Column Compiles Slowly
PHA 7349 - Old Allergy, Interaction, and duplicates appearing on
