Title: Updating Charge Codes Pricing in Different Departments
Hello MEDITECH users,
We currently have several patient chargeable items that are sent to multiple departments and they have a different charge code assigned to them per department.
For example:
If have a bag of saline and materials management send this item to Pharmacy, ER, and OR, but the Pharmacy wants to change the price. Well, this has to be done manually and someone is more and likely going to leave all departments out that use this product.
What are you doing to ensure that all everyone is capturing the right price for every department that uses these items?
We are just trying to make sure we don't have a different price in different departments. This would also be applicable regarding procedure charges too.
