Professionally, I have learned quite alot from your postings so I take exception from anyone saying that HCA is stingy. >From experience I have also learned that 85% of the time a submitted NPR report will NOT work for another facility. It is highly customizeable code per facility even if your talking about standard Meditech code. Difficult to customize for the intermediate NPR report writer but not for a pool of independent contracting types of people. They can take the overall design of the NPR report and make the appropriate minor adjustments customized to a specific facility. Bottom line is that these contractors can take advantage of helpful people. As far as the HCA'rs are concerned (and who knows maybe the INHS'rs as well) whomever may have signed non-disclosure (non compete) agreements, these people may be prevented from distributing their developed code. And the bottom of the bottom of the bottom line is that: In response to a previous email regarding support for this list Gil should require vendors to contribute monetarily to the list All above IMHOO (In my humble opinion only) Jim Purvins ----- Original Message ----- From: "Davis Daniel - Southern Hills" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "James A. We are all engaged in work for which we are paid. Some of us are consultants who make our living working in Meditech. This list is a huge resource to learn how to go something. We all add to our library of knowledge simply from reading the posts. And, we all incorporate the lessons learned or tricks shared into the next Meditech project when useful. So, is your concern about that, or something greater? Daniel Davis, RN -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of James A.
