Meditech does in fact create an NMI message for fix dc's.  See the following
sequence of NMI message fragments.  I entered a new order, then dc'd it,
then fix dc'd it:

We have been using Omnicell for the last 6 years, and the fix dc function
did not work for us until after our latest Meditech update to MAGIC 5.5 sr2.
Meditech has changed the format of their NMI message, and I made a phone
call to the interface group at Omnicell.  Within a week, everything was
working correctly with verified orders, limited edits and full edits, fix
dc's all crossing the interface and updating the Omnicell database
correctly.

I doubt if anything is being blocked by Pyxis.  I'll bet Meditech is
simply not sending anything to Pyxis for FDC's.  (Pyxis can only catch
something if it's thrown.)

Kevin - I haven't had a chance to do this, but plan to see if there is
a way 
to do it. Where this comes into play a lot is when someone is
discharged in 
error and the order is fixed by undo.
