We have found that using ppii rather than HPLaserIIII in the printer driver helps. Also, if the name of the printer is greater than ten characters, there will be issues printing. We also, at that time, had to go from NUI 4.16 to 4.17. Of course, the versions are much higher than that now.
So, we have (on the desktop the user is connecting to Citrix with) renamed all the printers with very short names.
That seemed to resolve this issue.

Remote printing was available by choosing the Workstation Options, Printer Setup routine, and choosing the HPlaserIIII selection (out of the many printers available).
