We are C/S 5.4 SR2 and have been using the ORM for Endoscopy Documentation for over a year now.  I agree that ORM is designed for this, but is not very user friendly.  We created a custom screen for Endoscopy that was specific to the area to streamline documentation for the staff.  They use the custom Endoscopy screen, along with the standard VS, Case Staff, Charges, Nursing Diagnosis, Diagnosis/Transfer, Procedures, Meds I/O, and  Op Notes screens in the Operative Section.  All of their documentation flows to the EMR.  If you'd like to discuss or see some screen shots of what the custom screen looks like, give me a call or e-mail me.

        I am looking for suggestions for documentation in the Endoscopy area. We are a CS 5.5 SRII we are live with ORM since June. We are starting our PCS implementation in October. Anyway we are trying to decide which module to document endoscopy in. ORM is designed to do this except the Outpatient manager has been on a site visits and the module was not very user friendly. Much less the ORM output is not a good product either. She is wanting to know if any one is documenting in PCS and what are the draw backs if any. We do plan on documenting HX and other notes in PCS with an interface for VS in PCS. HELP………………. Susan
