Sharon, we do a lot of notifications from Meditech to Outlook Exchange
(rather than MOX), particularly from NUR, SCH, and ADM. If that's what
you're looking for, here's the process we use. (You may need some
assistance from your network staff to ensure that there is a proper
gateway from your Meditech server to your network & Outlook server, but
you might give this a try first.) There's three steps to the process:

(1) Set up an OA message (in the MIS OA MESSAGE dictionary) for the
application that you're sending the note from. Here's an example of an
ADM OA message:

   Application ADM Last Edited by IS.XXX on 02/01/2006-0710
   Mnemonic MCR-DISCH Description Medicare discharge notify
   Active      Y           Reformat Y    Width 79

   This Medicare inpatient has been discharged:

   [f pt name]
   [f pt acct num]

   Patient's Location? Send To Patient Via E-Mail?
   Patient's Attending/ER Dr?             OA/Fax/Both
   Spool Group

   Location(s)                                      User(s)
                                                 IS.XXX     SMITH,JOE
                                                 NUR.YYY    JONES,JAMES

(2) Set up an attribute similar to this, and attach it to the
appropriate CDS:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]"Y"
FCL1= %MIS.OA.MSG.auto("MCR-DISCH",Q),
[EMAIL PROTECTED]("Discharge Notification has been sent to PFS")}

(3) Make sure the intended receivers' Outlook e-mail addresses are on
page 4 of their entries in the MIS USER dictionary (in the field "Mail
Address"). In the example above, the Outlook e-mail address would be
placed in the MIS entry for users IS.XXX and NUR.YYY

Note that in some applications (like SCH), you can't include patient
info in the text of your message, so you can only send generic messages.
Other applications allow you to send patient info. Hope that helps!
