Title: USING MULTIPLIERS FOR BILLING EPO
Does anyone out there use Multipliers to bill for erythropoietin. We are CS 5.5 SR2 and have Omnicell. We currently have scores of charge procedures built in B/AR for every conceivable dose, and all billing is done by hand. We would like to reduce this to just one charge procedure for 1,000 Units and allow Meditech to bill automatically for all dosages using the multiplier functionality......but we're uncertain as to how to go about doing this. We would appreciate hearing from anyone who has experience with this using either Omnicell or Pyxis.
