Ok, let’s try this again. My picture attachment didn’t come through last time,
so I’ll hand type it ☺

I have a fragment that reads through PHA.RX to see what meds patients are on.
I’m coming across a situation that I’m not entirely sure how to handle.

I am checking drug classes to find antibiotics on patients.  Sometimes they are
ordered as an ADD in to something like sodium chloride (see below).  My report
is picking up the Sodium Chloride, but not the VANCOMYCIN.  Is it because the
VANCO is stored in some other field, like ADDITIVE or something?   How do I
know when I need to check somewhere else for a med?  How is the info stored on
the Sodium Chloride/Vanco order listed below? This is the Current Medication
Order screen information from PCI.

RX# GENERIC NAME DOSE SIG/SCH ROUTE START
        STOP
2081355 SOD CHLORIDE 0.9% 275 MLS PREOP IV 09/04/06
    ADD VANCOMYCIN 1 G
