I just put our Vitros ECIq on Xyplex yesterday. I used the wiring diagram from Meditech for 25 pin DTE 5 male adapter and settings defined by Meditech's xyplex configuration document to accomplish this without any problem (other than modifying my adapter to fit snuggly into the housing of the analyzer). If you are looking to get a successful watch, the Meditech documentation indicates the "instrument must be setup in unidirectional (Upload) mode." I personally didn't bother doing a watch, instead I went right to doing a download test followed by resulting and uploading results thus not changing any settings on the instrument what so ever. http://www.meditech.com/analyzers/servers/server.asp?server=XYPLEX&platf orm=MG http://www.meditech.com/analyzers/instruments/device.asp?device=VITROS-E CI&platform=MG&server=XYPLEX Good luck.... The meditech-l web site is MTUsers.com ====================================== I am looking for a site that is interfacing to meditech via a xyplex term server, that would be willing to share the term server setup along with a print out of your wiring cap. I have used Meditech's setup documentation and get a device watch, but I'm not receiving any results via the interface to Meditech. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
