Our problem is we have 5 disciplines, ST, SW, NUR, Dietary and CONS that must sign the MDS. Our current practice is for nursing to complete the assessment then print them out and chase everyone down to get them signed. Nursing, as you might guess, has quite a time tracking everyone down to sign EACH assessment. My question: 1. Has anyone figured out a more efficient way to handle MDS's? 2.
