Jay, We are using Access eForms for printing of all our Registration documents. We generate facesheets, consents, armbands/labels, etc. We have been able to effectively manage all the different printing needs for three hospitals and multiple outpatient areas using this product. We are able to print documents to different printers and/or trays. We are even able to print differently based on the originating PC. Utilizing the data generated when a patient is registered, we are able to use logic to create very customized output based on facility, location, patient type, patient status, etc. We are currently in the process of designing consent forms to print in Spanish which would print based on a language response entered in Registration. We also use eSignature pads from Access eForms for the patient to sign their consents. After the registration is completed, the consent prints and is placed on the eSignature pad. The patient signs the consent and the electronic signature and biometric information about the signature is captured along with the consent and sent to our document imaging system. The patient is then able to take the signed consent with them. If you have other questions, I'll be glad to try to answer them. Laura Wilson Asst.
