I will be the Peer Group Leader (PGL) for Order Entry at the Eastern Canada MUSE conference in 3 weeks (October 17-19), and wanted to solicit some thoughts, learn from past experiences, and present opportunities to participate:
I will be the Peer Group Leader (PGL) for Order Entry at the Eastern Canada MUSE conference in 3 weeks (October 17-19), and wanted to solicit some thoughts, learn from past experiences, and present opportunities to participate:
- If you have been a PGL before, or have previously attended an OE session, or even just have an interest and skills/knowledge in OE - what Show & Tell or Jam topics:
- were especially well received/interesting/valuable?
- you wish could have been discussed more?
- are often neglected, but should be addressed?
- didn't work so well?
- If you will be attending the Eastern Canada MUSE in October, would you be interested in presented a topic of interest during the Show & Tell? I'm willing to help you out in any way I can (develop the powerpoint presentation with you, supply the laptop, ask questions, etc.).
I will be presenting on some first steps we at Guelph
General Hospital have implemented to interface Order Entry to MISTRO Grasp, and
then describe our current development and future directions. Feel free to
bring your questions and thoughts about this (or give me a teaser ahead of time
about what you want to know).
