I am posting a HELP
question for our whole hospital. We starting testing MAGIC 5.5.3 this
week.We have discovered that many of our attributes do not work in NUR or any
other application that has a CDS. To name a few because we have not tested
each one yet are totaling, pop-up, and skip.
We have noticed that
documenting on a CDS in ABS that has pop-ups, comments, and Y/N queries, the
responses we have selected or typed may not appear on the screen
but when we print the CDS, everything is there.
We have also found
that that the comment type queries give us an error message that it is not a
group response (Hello, we know that) and then wants to error out the rest of the
CDS. We are also noticing that "E" type queries cause screen corruption
when we type a comment of multiple lines. And there are no attributes on
these comment queries.
Nursing is also
finding that they cannot file interventions. The system will lock-up on
them.
In short, we are
encountering problems with CDSs in any application.
Any and all help is
welcome. I will put all responses into a file and post to the "L" for
other hospitals that will be upgrading to 5.5 in the future.
