Valerie, What we did was create a non-admin reason of "*See Manual MAR". The "*" was used so it would be the first reason in the list. When the patient is transferred from a non-BMV unit the nurse on the BMV unit will non-administer those meds given on the prior unit and use that reason. I hope this helps.
